I'm currently working on adding new quests and improving the old ones, plus I reworked the storyline but still have a lot to do for version 0.1... It's gonna be a really big update so I need some time to finish it. Also I reworked almost all dialogues:

1. Map. A bigger map is needed (taking into account the fact that the northern village is alone and there is nothing else and no one there except for one zombie. A few more places / villages / houses in which playable NPCs live, with whom you can trade or do something else? It was written that there are a lot of different races, and there are only 3 of them playable (the cow guards the merchant, the merchant for bargaining + I took away the fish from the mermaid and it became unplayable)
2. Recipes. You wrote that there are 25 recipes in game version 0.09.1.1. Personally, I found 18. A total of 18. And that's it. Where can I get the rest when I don’t know what are available and there is no list of these recipes anywhere on the Internet?
3. Combat animation? This is a first-person game, I don't see this animation, only hands.
4. Raising the level of the village, I think, is too slow. You can wear pumpkins / herbs / skins for the NPC for a month or two ... What's the point? Even the best grinders will soon get tired of this.
5. Skill Adam. In the description, "affects the size of the genitals." It turns out there is a chance that, having reached level 10 of this skill, I will have such a genital that I can kill wolves with it like a club? :D

1. Yea, I'm gonna start working on enemy AI soon and fix this problem. 2. When I was adding ores to the map I did not think someone would collect them that fast. I'm gonna fix that ;) 4. New poses would be added in 0.1. Also this skill would allow you to get new perks. 5. Yea, I've already added new recipes and reworked crafting system. There's 23 recipes (including poses and 2 tutorial pages) currently in the game.
Thanks again for your feedback. Version 0.1 would have a lot more content that I described in dev logs, so it would take more time then usual to develop. But on the other hand, many aspects of the game will be completed and the game will finally have a finished base.

Another nuance is the fishing net. After the quest to repair the net, the player gives it (when it is repaired) to Yotra. But the player cannot craft a new one, or in version 0.09.1.1 there is no recipe yet or there is no function to fishing by player (carp is drawn in the photo, but in the game it is trout, which you can buy from Alice from time to time). there is only a repair of the old fishing net, but it is not there, I gave it away on a quest :)
In game now 23 recipes? Is it possible to come up with something so that the list of all recipes is visible somewhere ( You know them, the players don’t. Or do I need to hit the dark elf on the head with a hammer so that he has them? ) :D
Finished net currently can be used only in quest. After finishing this quest village's piers would be improved and Alice start trading fish and items made of fish. And it's trout in 9.1 build but in 9.4 I've changed it to carp.
Yeap, you can craft bear meat (same as wolf meat) and cook eggs. You can buy some recipes from Alice/Malagdaer/Shaartan or find on game level.
so when i went to check out the village for the traveller dude's quest i found a bird nest and a ring (probably Alice's) before i had Alice's ring quest, is there multiple bird nests or am i fucked?
Hey! No, sorry but version 0.09.1 does not support save from 0.8... But it has improved save system with multiple save slots. Well, maybe this may help you in your new journey?
I found out you can only keep the characters inventory, but after inserting the save (save.json needs to be renamed into 1.json and moved into saves folder) from 0.8 there are a few things that happen:
1. You keep the characters inventory
2. You keep the stats
3. You keep some quest data
Problems that appear:
- The map isn't saved and thus chest loot is reset
- The doors remain locked
- All character positions in the world are reset including main character's position. - Some quests are reset like the stove one, although you can still get the fetch quests like normal.
Hey! Thanks for feeback! You can try talking to Shaartan and this may end the quest or you need to fully restart the game and it may fix the stones so you could close them again. If it wont help the problem also could be resulted due to reloading the game while doing this quest... so you might need to start new game or just continue w/o finishing this quest.
Have same problem. Got the quest, Killed spiders, Used Strength to block the spider nest, but in questbook the spider nest block is not marked as done. This is probably a bug (if fixing via hotfix, do please try to make it so it checks if the nest is blocked or not and then marks quest correspondingly (or resets the nest if the quest was not completed))

1. Character: Added 6 new Skills, skills system would be removed, new combat & use animations, new perk system that works as skills system, and new equipment: weapons, armor...;
2. Combat: Gonna improve it a lot: new moves, damage types, animations. Also all enemy AI would be improved and have it own attack types, weak points and so on...
3. Craft: Current craft system would be reworked to make it a bit harder but more rewardable;
4. NPC: Planning to make NPC more alive so they have more dynamic daily schedule with new animations. Also make them walk inside/outside village to gather some plants for crafting (they already can craft items in free time);
5. Other: And yeah bug fixes, optimization, and some other small game changes that would make your life easier but almost nobody would notice;
6. Act: As for the "pervy" part. I'm not planning to add fetishes, I'm just planning to add more romance with npc and raise current act animation quality bar, just the same as we have now but with better quality and immersion I guess;
As for the updates I guess I would release 0.09.1 next month cuz some players have problmes with x32 architecture and this version is already on x64. And version 0.1 is way bigger then all previous that why it would take more time.
And yeah, you can help me out just by playing the game finding bugs, no need to donate, I've already got used to no donates ;) Or just rate the game :D
Just going to ask, before downloading. I looked through the discussion and have seen that there are problems with crashes because of x32 low ram. You said this problem is fixed in 0.09 by going to x64. You said that 2 months ago. Soo how long to public release of 0.09?
Hey! Sorry for the inconvenience! It is quite possible that your computer does not meet the minimum requirements, or the problem is in the x32 architecture...
Thank you for feedback. Your PC might not have enough RAM or Video memory. But if you can at least load main menu then you can try reducing Texture Quality, this might help.

TL,DR; Awesome. This is a fantastic 3D, erotic, monster-girl fantasy adventure. The graphics are amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and it's just quirky enough to be a unique experience.
Edit: Save and Load is broken. Don't mess up as "loading" a previous "save" does not reload everything.
I went on a roundabout way getting to this version for some reason. I had 0.06 first (which I think I downloaded a while ago but forgot about) loved it, and was thrilled to find a version #33. I spent a few hours severely frustrated at the bugs and after looking at itch.io again, I found this 0.08 version.
And after seeing the iterations of Aurora's Fog, I really hope CATINMASK keeps it up.
Saving/loading should work fine in 0.08. But saves won't work if you took them from previous builds (0.06 for example). But anyway give some more information how loading works in your case.
I fixed the bathhouse and then picked the "wrong" option during the cut scene. I quit the scene and reloaded my save. Then, the squirrel girl seemed to remember that I quit the scene and then glitched out with duplicated text- after the load. Quitting the game completely and loading from a new launch seemed to fix it. I did not copy any saves from previous builds.
I'm having a little problem progressing through the game. I'm stuck at that part, the merchant is telling me to wait until he has more to say. I've already made all sidequests available
Allright, this game needs a walkthrough. There aren't multiple save slots as far as i am aware, and you miss one conversation, and with not-hand-holding quest log doesn't explain much, you can be absolutely lost. Now i have to look for a chest that i don't know where to look for.
And no, she won't be explaining it twice :D
Also, how do you get firewood? Yes... I tried chopping anything wood-looking with an axe.
Another problem (i have not completed all of the questlines so i might be wrong) there is no way to replay scenes. And you have one save slot (afaik). So, one suggestion, to use bed interraction when specific character using it to replay the scenes. It feels like an easier fix.
Hello Catinmask! First of all thank you for your amazing work. I loved the crafting minigame, and i am hoping for some secret recipes :) I am not sure If it's within capabilities of the game's engine, but a general advice, some extra interractions that can be directed by player in intimate scenes makes it so much more immersive :) (I am still talking about free version so...)

Some extra interactions? I would like to hear some examples if that's possible. And feel free to offer your ideas, you notice what I don't from your player's perspective.
Anything to make it less static, really. Actually playing in the animation is leagues ahead on watching a video. Depending on the animation being able to change hand positions like touch actions, changing current animation stage, changing small parts of the animation on played scene, like position of a specific part or speed ect. Long story short, whatever you think will be possible :)
at a guess I'd say it's because it stands out with it being so different to the current market on itcho.io. know I looked at it because I really want something to scratch the Kingdom come deliverance itch.
Is anyone else having issues drawing weapons in the game? I tried drawing, and then using the arms, but I can't seem to draw them. Even trying to rebind the key doesn't seem to work.
Readying the weapon. I'm used to calling weapons arms. lol. But yeah, the Ready Weapon command doesn't seem to work for me. I deleted and redownloaded the 0.06.1 game just to make sure it wasn't because I overwritten the old edition.
When I tried to change the key for it, it said that it was set to E, and won't change. (The Hint says it was set to R, but that didn't work either.)
I found the issue. I deleted it completely again and redownloaded a new file from here. Thank you for replying. =D And I hope Aurora's Fog improves. It's interesting game so far.
I honestly wasn't expecting the creator to reply. So, I was surprised.
The trick is to find the right position on the lock and try to turn the lockpick. If it does not work, then you should not hold the LMB, but rather release it and look for another point. I did lockpicking without relying on how it's work in Skyrim, since I did not play it...
Did the "Sacks of goods" mission, but it still appears in the mission section. Also, can't do anything after the first act with Yotra, I talked to everyone in the village and nobody says anything, the only mission I have is the "Aurora´s fog" one (and the bugged one I already mentioned), what do I do?
Follow the paved path into the forest. The first one you will find at the entrance to the forest. The rest are scattered next to the path at the beginning of the forest.

So I have a problem with Shaartan's quest, as you can see I've blocked the entrance to the spider nest already
but the quest didn't get checked and I can't progress this quest with Shaartan

i attempted this however the problem persists I also switch versions and did a fresh install
i have given up on my graphics card as it is worse than integrated graphics works better thankyou for your time

Decent game but the crafting and cooking is way too complicated compared to the rest of the game. it would be nice to tone it down a bit.

I fixed the bathhouse and then picked the "wrong" option during the cut scene. I quit the scene and reloaded my save. Then, the squirrel girl seemed to remember that I quit the scene and then glitched out with duplicated text- after the load.
Quitting the game completely and loading from a new launch seemed to fix it.
I did not copy any saves from previous builds.
Still more at the beginning part but I wish you can view previous acts and pin the current quest you're doing onto the HUD

Allright, this game needs a walkthrough. There aren't multiple save slots as far as i am aware, and you miss one conversation, and with not-hand-holding quest log doesn't explain much, you can be absolutely lost. Now i have to look for a chest that i don't know where to look for.
And no, she won't be explaining it twice :D
Also, how do you get firewood? Yes... I tried chopping anything wood-looking with an axe.
Another problem (i have not completed all of the questlines so i might be wrong) there is no way to replay scenes. And you have one save slot (afaik). So, one suggestion, to use bed interraction when specific character using it to replay the scenes. It feels like an easier fix.

Hello Catinmask! First of all thank you for your amazing work. I loved the crafting minigame, and i am hoping for some secret recipes :) I am not sure If it's within capabilities of the game's engine, but a general advice, some extra interractions that can be directed by player in intimate scenes makes it so much more immersive :) (I am still talking about free version so...)

Some extra interactions? I would like to hear some examples if that's possible. And feel free to offer your ideas, you notice what I don't from your player's perspective.
Anything to make it less static, really. Actually playing in the animation is leagues ahead on watching a video. Depending on the animation being able to change hand positions like touch actions, changing current animation stage, changing small parts of the animation on played scene, like position of a specific part or speed ect. Long story short, whatever you think will be possible :)

Is anyone else having issues drawing weapons in the game? I tried drawing, and then using the arms, but I can't seem to draw them. Even trying to rebind the key doesn't seem to work.

Readying the weapon. I'm used to calling weapons arms. lol. But yeah, the Ready Weapon command doesn't seem to work for me. I deleted and redownloaded the 0.06.1 game just to make sure it wasn't because I overwritten the old edition.
When I tried to change the key for it, it said that it was set to E, and won't change. (The Hint says it was set to R, but that didn't work either.)
I found the issue. I deleted it completely again and redownloaded a new file from here. Thank you for replying. =D And I hope Aurora's Fog improves. It's interesting game so far.

0.06.1 uses a more outdated combat system and I thought it was the problem... For example here's combat in 0.07:
And yeah, I need to fix keys in hints, because they dont get changed if you change keys in settings :D

The trick is to find the right position on the lock and try to turn the lockpick. If it does not work, then you should not hold the LMB, but rather release it and look for another point. I did lockpicking without relying on how it's work in Skyrim, since I did not play it...
I cannot find shaartan's chest it's impossible to find

How do you repeat scenes like in the other versions, and are there any new scrolls because the merchant doesn't sell them anymore.

Did the "Sacks of goods" mission, but it still appears in the mission section.
Also, can't do anything after the first act with Yotra, I talked to everyone in the village and nobody says anything, the only mission I have is the "Aurora´s fog" one (and the bugged one I already mentioned), what do I do?

Some acts are unlocked with a certain dialogue choice. Also, don't forget to buy pose scrolls from Malagdaer and about the Seducer perk.

Follow the paved path into the forest. The first one you will find at the entrance to the forest. The rest are scattered next to the path at the beginning of the forest.
