New House 3D Model
Hey, guys! Today I want to show you an updated model of residents' houses, with new features and functionality.
By the way, according to the plan, after updating the 3D models, I have to update the landscape, but I think it may take another month, and it's better not to delay build release this much... So I think it's better to refine the landscape a little, correcting bugs and shortcomings and move on to the final tasks. What do you think?
New Houses
• Updated the 3D model of houses in the village. The new model has better optimization without loss of quality;
• The window model for the new house has been updated. Now you can interact with windows by opening/closing them;
• Updated the door model for the house with better optimization;
• Windows and doors in houses are now painted and the color of the paint can be changed. This will allow to paint houses in the village with different colors for a better orientation in the village + there are plans to add the opportunity for the player to paint his house;
• The stove model in the house has been updated;
• Updated the work of smoke/fire particles for the new stove. Now the smoke from the chimney reacts to the wind, changing it's direction;
• The campfire flicker effect has been returned;

I like both new and old house designs. I think that landscape update is crucial to the game cause it's a part of exploring and also an important part of some quests so it should be done with time and precision. We all want to see the new update but in my opinion it's better to be sure that everything was done well rather than in a hurry and low quality. Thanks for sharing the development news with us! <3
I think I like the older Medieval style houses over the more modern appearing new ones tbh. Love the game so far though!
I was not trying to make it more modern but make it in different style. Previous house was done in more west european style, and current in more eastern. Plus I was planning to make it wooden but it would take more time so I decided to make clay variant which was used too in medieval.
Understood, still highly excited to see where this game goes and can't wait for more.
